The buyer has three days after receipt of the puppy to have him/her examined by your Veterinarian,upon proof of puppy being found by your Veterinarian to be seriously ill within this time period you may request a full refund upon returning the puppy to us at your expense.This guarantee will be terminated immediately if puppy is not examined within the allotted time.We will not be responsible for contagious disease contracted after pup has left our care.
Hip Dysplasia
In the unlikely event that a Bama Standard Poodle is suspected of being dysplastic in its first two years,this is the procedure to follow--notify us by phone or letter.
Submit the dogs x-ray to The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals or Pennhip.
If either of these finds the dog to be "severely Dysplastic: then to qualify for a replacement--The dysplastic dog must be put to sleep by your Veterinarian and a letter from him/ her saying this has been done This letter must also state that the Animal has not been overfed for it`s height/structure(Large Breed Puppy food for the first two years) and has received regular check-ups.
The papers for the dog must be sent to us and transferred to our name.
The dog must have been x-rayed for this condition before its 2nd birthday,but not before 1 1/2 years(sometimes an early x-ray will not portray true results during growth spurts).if female a true x-ray cannot be done either 30 days before or 30 days after their cycle.
The dog must not have been bred,be overweight and must still be with the original owner. No replacement will be given if the dog has been over exercised during their growth period(until 1 1/2 years)which is running with or jumping the dog excessively in play. After these qualifications have been met you may choose a replacement pup (of equal value)from any of our litters subject to availability,paying the difference in price if you desire a more expensive puppy(as our prices do change occasionally)No cash refunds are given.
Because of the quality and variety of dog foods available(and all canine illness are not covered by vaccination)we strongly recommend you keep your pet on a good vitamin.
Buyer must maintain this dog in good health,providing Veterinary care to insure continued good health.All travel arrangements are to be made by buyer."I WILL NOT SHIP USING CONTINENTAL".Delta Pets First is my preference,and I will be more than happy to explain my reasons to you.
